Mr. Oyede Fouad Adepoju is from Eti-Osa local government of Lagos State. He had his primary and secondary school education at the Mainland Preparatory Nursery and Primary school, Bank Olemoh, Surulere and at the Rev. Angus memorial high school; Igbobi, yaba. He later proceeded to the Lagos State University, Ojo, where he earned his Bachelor degree (B.Sc.) in Mathematic.
He served his compulsory one Year National Youth Service Corps at the Administrative Department of the Nigerian Industrial Development Bank in Bauchi State.
Having completed his National Youth Service Corps, he was later employed as Administrative Officer II at the Lagos State Public Works Corporation in 1995, were he served as Administrative Officer and as Head, Information Technology Until till 2001.
In the Year 2002, Oyede was redeployed to the Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget as Planning Officer I and Oracle Public Sector Budget Champion in the Economic planning Department. Between the Year 2004 and 2014, Mr. Oyede rose to become the Senior Planning and Chief Planning officer in the Budget Department, while still maintaining the position as the Oracle Public Sector Budget Champion.
Between the year 2014 and 2019, Oyede, as an Assistant Director (Planning) became the Head of Planning Unit at the Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget as well as the Focal Person on Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) & Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), he was later deployed to the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure as Deputy Director (planning) to head the Planning Unit as the Director Planning in 2019, where he was until early 2023, when he was redeployed to the Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget to head the Monitoring and Evaluation Department as the Director.
Oyede, is an associate member of the Institute of Finance and Control of Nigeria (IFCN), he has undergone several trainings, participated in several programmes such as R12 Oracle enterprise (Public Sector Budget/ General Ledger), Leading and Managing Teams, Developing a 21st Century Public Servant and Dealing with Difficult People amongst others.
In the course of his career progression, Oyede as shown exemplary dedication to his duties, which as earned him several awards such as Productivity Award (2003), Best Performing Head of Planning Unit (2021) amongst other commendation letters.
Mr. Fouad Adepoju Oyede loves reading, travelling and football.
