Adenike Akinyemi was born on 31st July, 1967 into the family of Engr. & Mrs. Gbadebo Ademoroti, Osun State. She started her primary school education at Lara Day Nursery & Primary school, Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja in 1978 and then proceeded to Girls Secondary Grammar school Bariga now Eva Adelaja secondary school. In 1983, she completed her secondary education. She further went to obtain Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting from Yaba College of technology in 1992 and served as a Youth Corper with Central Bank of Nigeria. She became a Certified National Accountant (CAN) in 2012 awarded by the Association of National Accountant of Nigeria (ANAN).
Her working career began with the Board of Internal Revenue (BIR) in 1997. As a result of the reform that took place in BIR, she was moved to the main Civil Service in 2008 as an Auditor, and was posted to Lagos State Urban Renewal Authority (LASURA) and later redeployed to Lagos State Physical Planning Permit authority in 2011. IN 2013, She was transferred to Ministry of Agriculture. Again, in 2019, she was posted to Ministry of Economic Planning & Budget where she is presently as Assistant Director (Audit). Adenike is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). She loves cooking and travelling, is happily married and blessed with lovely children.
